I have managed to trace the Colliar Famiy tree as far back as the 1640s, however some branches are still incomplete and we need your help to keep the information up to date.

If you do have further information or a Family Event like a birth or marriage occurs then please let us know.

The charts available on here are not fully up to date, as I am always finding out more information and adding more details. They also do not contain information on individuals, who to our knowledge are still living, as this breaks UK/EU privacy laws.

I can supply copies on Memory Stick, there is a £10 charge for these to partly cover the cost.

These are available in two different formats.

We can either send the information as a PDF but it can be difficult to read, or we can send a GEDCOM file, which should work with most fmaily tree software,

The Family Tree files on this site and any copies you may ask for are copywrited by myself and can only be used for your own information.

The data is also subject to Scottish Data Protection rules and it is illegal to copy or distribute then in any way without my consent and the permission of every living person in the tree.

Copies of the tree are sent out on the strict understanding that they will only be for personal use.
